Our founder, James H. Henry, began his career in creative recognition in 1938. Initially, by providing class rings to high schools across the midwest, his passion for artistic design in jewelry and excellence in customer service was born.

Upon returning from military service in 1945 as an Air Force Lieutenant in Great Britain, he opened a small jewelry manufacturing facility in downtown Chicago with his partner, Doc Morgan.

In the mid-1950s, the manufacturing facility relocated west of downtown Chicago to St. Charles, Illinois. Later, in 1974, the company incorporated and the new name Jim Henry, Inc. was firmly established.

From Presidential honors for the Apollo Moon Landing Coins to NFL Super Bowl Rings to corporate recognition gifts for the Fortune 100, to nursing pins for colleges both big and small, it has been our privilege to serve many prestigious national and international medical organizations, associations, government, and corporate customers for several consecutive decades.


In 2018, the Henry Family joined efforts with the McClurg Family to help begin building the company of the future.  Today, the Illinois facility is owned and managed by Chris McClurg, President of Jim Henry, Inc.  Chris comes to Jim Henry, Inc. with a long history of helping brands of all sizes tell their story which leads to turning customers into advocates and employees into ambassadors.
